Movie News

The cast of Gareth (MONSTERS) Edwards’ eagerly anticipated reboot continues to grow with news that David Strathairn is now in negotiations to join as a “military figure”. Strathairn’s last genre work was in the recently cancelled Syfy show, ALPHAS, but is probably best known for his Oscar-nommed role in George Clooney's 2005 film, GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK.

No official announcements have been made regarding the cast of GODZILLA as of yet, but recent reports have indicated that Aaron Taylor-Johnson (KICK-ASS), Bryan Cranston (TOTAL RECALL), Elizabeth Olsen (SILENT HOUSE) and Juliette Binoche (COSMOPOLIS) are all onboard in unspecified roles. Only Olsen has confirmed her involvement so far, talking about the “gritty” take on the popular property during an interview on the red carpet of the BAFTAS, but expect something concrete very shortly…

GODZILLA hits cinemas May 2014.
