Movie News

While the reaction to Marc Webb's Spidey reboot was met with a rather muted response, there was enough good stuff in there to suggest the sequel could quite easily knock it out of the park. The recent news that Paul Giamatti is strapping on the horn to play The Rhino certainly made people sit up and notice, and we're quite eager to see Webb and Jaimee Fox have in store for Electro. Anyhoo, here's our first look at the slightly modified new Spidey suit Mr. Garfield will be rocking come next April...

Official Synopsis:

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

THE REALLY AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (or whatever it ends up being called; will they really just slap a 2 on the end?) hits UK cinemas April 18th 2014. For updates on the production you might want to keep an eye on Marc Webb’s Twitter account @MarcW.
