Movie News

Following on from the hideous poster revealed last week, Lionsgate has unleashed the first trailer for The Last Exorcism Part II. To be honest, we're not quite sure how we feel about the sequel ditching the found footage angle, but it's a nice touch that the documentary footage of the original film is incorporated into the narrative. (Quite how it made its way online if everybody died is anybody's guess.) We'll find out whether the movie can live up to the first when it makes its debut in March. In the meantime, enjoy...

Synopsis:

Continuing where the first film left off, Nell Sweetzer (Ashley Bell) is found terrified and alone in rural Louisiana. Back in the relative safety of New Orleans, Nell realizes that she can't remember entire portions of the previous months only that she is the last surviving member of her family. Just as Nell begins the difficult process of starting a new life, the evil force that once possessed her is back with other, unimaginably horrific plans that mean her last exorcism was just the beginning.

THE LAST EXORCISM PART II hits UK cinemas March 15th.
