Movie News

Hot on the heels of our POWERS news earlier, comes the announcement of yet another comic-book property heading to TV - make room in your schedule for 100 BULLETS.

Based on Brian Azzarello's long-running Vertigo title about a mysterious stranger who presents characters with one hundred untraceable bullets in which to carry out revenge on their enemies - and a guarantee that they will never be caught. The results are typically compelling, and the episodic nature of the concept makes TV the perfect medium for an adaptation.

U.S. cable network Showtime - home of such gems as DEXTER and WEEDS - have made the very encouraging move of hiring David S. Goyer (best known for writing the BLADE and DARK KNIGHT trilogies) to oversee the series as producer and writer.

We'll keep you in the loop on all further developments!
