Movie News

Perhaps best known as the director of the Fast and Furious franchise from the third onwards (and Fast Six is filming), director Justin Lin once upon a time started his career in quirky indies with Better Luck Tomorrow. Now instead of the rumoured Terminator 5, Lin is signing on to something that may be going back to his roots somewhat even though it does come from super studio Universal Pictures.

Subdivision is a spec script from the writers of Tucker and Dale vs Evil, Morgan Jurgenson and Alex Ankeles. Not much is known about the plot apart from that it’s a sci-fi comedy in the vein of Tucker and Dale. The writing duo also sold another sci-fi comedy script entitled Hyperdrive to Paramount earlier this year which is nothing to do with the ill-fated Nick Frost BBC TV show from a few years back.
