Everyone’s favourite scientologist is going to be around for quite a while on our shores it seems. Not only does Tom Cruise have Oblivion and All You Need is Kill coming out over the next two years but he has also now attached himself to a spec sci-fi screenplay entitled Our Name is Adam.

Pacific Rim producer Mary Parent has picked up the original screenplay by T.S Nowlin and has attached Cruise to it to drum up interest no doubt. Not much else is known about the project, it’s all very hush hush but we do know it's science fiction. Nowlin also wrote the forthcoming Charlize Theron action vehicle Agent 13 which is to be directed by Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes).

Cruise will next be seen as a woefully miscast Jack Reacher around Christmas time and then Oblivion in April 2013.
