Director Darren Aronofsky (BLACK SWAN) has finally decided on his next project since jumping THE WOLVERINE ship some months ago, with the announcement he’s to helm the pilot episode for an intriguing new TV show by the name of HOBGOBLIN.

Conceived by acclaimed writer Michael Chabon (his novel THE AMAZING ADVENTURES OF KAVALIER & CLAY is a must for comic fans) and his wife Ayelet Waldman (SPIDER-MAN 2), HOBGOBLIN will chronicle the adventures of a group of magicians and con men who team up to defeat Hitler and his forces in WWII.

The combination of such talent makes this project one to watch, especially as the network producing it is HBO (yay!), thus gaurenteeing you won’t have to worry about the show getting cancelled three episodes in.

As always we’ll be sure to keep you informed of any further developments...
