...Courtesy of a cheeky quote pulled from a recent interview with Metro. Asked about the in-development sequel and Ford’s involvement, the director had this to say…

“…it’s happening. With Harrison Ford? I don’t know yet. Is he too old? Well, he was a Nexus-6 so we don’t know how long he can live [laughs]. And that’s all I’m going to say at this stage.”

Of course it’s always been a huge bone of contention between the pair as to whether Deckard was a Replicant in the film (Nexus-6 being a model), so you can read it one of two ways – either Ridley knows that Ford (who’s taken at least one meeting on the project in the past) has little intention of reprising the role, so why not get a bit of a dig in, or the star has actually chilled out on the subject over the thirty years since the fall-out and no longer gives a monkeys.

We look forward to finding out…

To read the full interview go HERE. Ridley's also got some stuff on PARADISE, the proposed sequel to PROMETHEUS. But to be honest it's nothing new.
