Movie News: Meet The New Neighbours In Latest PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4 Trailer…

Paranormal Activity 4

I've waffled on enough in previous posts how much I love this series, so I will spare you any more righteous anger about how undervalued the movies are. But if the same critics that continue to dump on these can name a genuinely 'scarier' horror franchise currently being made, then I'm all ears! (Damn it, not two sentences in and I'm already at it again.) Nevermind, if you're reading this right now then I'm pretty sure you're a fan too, so let's just get on with the trailer...

You must have the Adobe Flash Player installed to view this player.

It's been a long time since we've actually seen the storyline move 'forward' from the events of the first PARANORMAL ACTIVITY (last few minutes of part 2 aside), so this should be very interesting. Plus, despite revisiting many of the series' tropes - sheets being whipped off, people being dragged violently off-camera - it still looks pretty hair-raising, with returning directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman managing to find even more inventive ways of playing with the format. We'll find out whether they can top the oscillating fan scene when the film arrives in UK cinemas October 17th.
