Movie News: Hit-Girl Is Back! First Look At Chloe Moretz On Set Of KICK-ASS 2...

Remember when we all thought this movie would never get off the ground? Sometimes it's great to be wrong isn't it. Well, shooting on KICK-ASS 2 began officially over the weekend in Canada, and the first pap pics have now hit the nets. Check out the gallery below to get your first look at a returning Chloe Grace Moretz as Mindy Macready/Hit-Girl (spot the stuntwoman!), and Aaron Johnson as Dave Lizewski/Kick-Ass. Plus! The debut of The Hit-Bike! Awesome.

And for those who missed it, here's your first glimpse at Mother Russia, bodyguard to Red Mist (or The Motherfu--er as he'll be known here), as played by actual bodybuilder Olga Kurkulina...

KICK-ASS 2 is directed by Jeff Wadlow, and features all the cast of the original (including Nicolas Cage as Mr Macready if rumours are to be believed), with Jim Carrey joining as Colonel Stars, John Leguizamo as Javier, Lindy Booth as Night Bitch, Donal Faison as Doctor Gravity, Morris Chestnut as Sergeant Marcus Williams, Andy Nyman as The Tumor, Robert Emms as Insect Man and Daniel Kaluuya as Black Death. The sequel opens in the UK July 19th 2013.
