Movie News: Journey To THE DARK WORLD In New Pics From The Set Of THOR Sequel... [Updated: With Added God Of Thunder!]

Movie News

Thor

The last batch of leaked pics from the Surrey set of THOR: THE DARK WORLD looked like they were taken on the eve of a substandard LARP event, and were consequently so dull we didn't even post them here. Not so this batch, which come courtesy of The Daily Mail. Filming appears to be in full swing now, so there's plenty for us to gleam from the shots, including our first look at the returning Sif (played by Jamie Alexander) and the promise of some epic action. UPDATED: look who's just joined the fight!!! . . .

Head over to The Daily Mail for more.

Meanwhile, more THOR news drops regarding a new top secret cameo, with several news outlets picking up the story of a Twitter user by the name of @RogerWardell who claims to have inside knowledge on all things Marvel Studios. In a recent post he teases that Viggo Mortenson is set to appear in the movie as none other than Doctor Strange! While this is all very exciting, we'll take it with a pinch of salt for the time being, although the source has apparently been bang on in the past. Here's hoping.

THOR: THE DARK WORLD is directed by GAME OF THRONES' Alan Taylor, and opens in the UK November 8th.
