We've had a lot of sneaky-peeks at the AVENGERS upcoming DVD/Blu-ray of late (watch them all HERE), but as interesting as these Behind The Scenes snippets have been, this is very special indeed...

What we have here is an alternate opening scene featuring S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill recapping the post-invasion events of the film to her mysterious superiors. Given that the opening we actually got was a little on the awkward side, perhaps the film's only weakness, this late change may go a ways to explain why. Here's the clip...

We'll be able to see the entire thing when AVENGERS ASSEMBLE hits home video on September 17th.
