Encouraging indeed - as long as they steer clear of the Deadpool incarnation we saw at the end of the dreadful X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE.

* Check out artist Shepard Fairy’s awesome limited edition poster for John Carpenter’s THEY LIVE, available through MONDO. I want one!

* Fans of SHAUN OF THE DEAD and HOT FUZZ rejoice! Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright have finally begun writing the third film in their self-coined ‘Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy’. The guys are sticking with their previously announced working title WORLD’S END for the time being, and are continuing to remain schtum on any plot details. What genre would you like to see the creators tackle next?

* Bonkers cult flick BIG MAN JAPAN is heading for an English language remake courtesy of Sony. Not seen the original? You’ll be ordering the DVD straight after you check out this awesome trailer...
