R.I.P. Tony Scott 1944 - 2012

Director/producer Tony Scott, brother of director Ridley Scott, has apparently commited sucide by jumping off the Vicent Thomas bridge in Long Beach, California.

Mr. Scott left a legacy of influential films such as Top Gun, Crimson Tide, The Hunger, True Romance, Man on Fire and Enemy of the State to name just a few. Future projects were to include prodcuing Prometehus 2 and a proposed sequel to his contemporary vampire film, The Hunger. 

Most recently he was the producer on his brother's film, Prometheus.

Our hearts go out to his friends and family.

Now seems he had inoperable brain cancer. I suppose he chose the lesser of two evils... Tragic.
