Death Race 3

While Paul W.S. Anderson's DEATH RACE reboot barely made a dent in the Box Office when it was released in 2008, it did manage to scrape together enough of a fanbase to warrant continuing the story of Frankenstein and co. as a straight-to-DVD franchise. Even without the presence of the Stath! Here then, for all you gear-heads, followers of Anderson (King of the Guilty Pleasure!) and/or fans of the former one-half-of-Bros, Luke Goss, is the gloriously silly first trailer for the soon to be unleashed third entry, DEATH RACE 3: INFERNO! Enjoy the car-nage, folks!

You must have the Adobe Flash Player installed to view this player.

Official Synopsis:

In this installment, convicted cop-killer Carl Lucas, aka Frankenstein, is a superstar driver in the brutal prison yard demolition derby known as Death Race. Only one victory away from winning freedom for himself and his pit crew, Lucas is plunged into an all-new competition more vicious than anything he has experienced before. Pitted against his most ruthless adversaries ever, Lucas fights to keep himself and his team alive in a race in South Africa ‘s infernal Kalahari Desert. With powerful forces at work behind the scenes to ensure his defeat, will Lucas’ determination to win at all costs mean the end of the road for him?

No firm release date yet for DR3:I other than a tentative December debut in the US, but we'll be sure to let you know.
