Whilst we all wait for the third RIDDICK movie with baited breath, Vin Diesel is busy preparing for his next foray into the science fiction genre.
We had previously heard that the film entitled THE MACHINE would be his next project and revolved around a cyborg who befriends a young boy. The original screenplay was by Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon who had previously worked on NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM so hopes were not high. Now SMALLVILLE creators Miles Miller and Alfred Gough have been brought on board to re-write the film.
Director Peter Segal is still attached to direct but apparently has two films lined up first so expect this one probably later in the decade rather than sooner.
