One of the big hits amongst genre fans at the recent Edinburgh film festival was the Irish monster movie GRABBERS.
Labelled ‘the Irish TREMORS’ the film already has many fans and cult status looks certain. A trailer has now finally appeared online:
Looks like a ton of fun with a little bit of some SHAUN OF THE DEAD thrown in and some surprisingly decent CG beasts. GRABBERS follows a sleepy small Irish village which is besieged by slimy beasts. It stars the increasingly ubiquitous Russell Tovey, Richard Coyle and Ruth Bradley and is directed by Jon Wright.
GRABBERS will also play at next month’s London Frightfest before making the rounds in limited release.
