Movie News: First Teaser Hits For Shyamalan's Sci-Fi Epic AFTER EARTH...

Just in case AFTER EARTH is not on your radar yet, it's the next movie from M. Night Shyamalan-- Wait, where'd everybody go?! Come back, he didn't write this one, it's ok! 

Set in a world where the population of Earth has long since vacated our planet for a new home on Nova Prime, Will Smith's General Cypher Raige (don't laugh) is reunited with his son Kitai (Jaden) after a tour of duty. Before they can bond properly, the pair crash land on Earth, crippling Cypher. So it's up to Kitai to step up to the plate and find a way home.

To be honest, it sounds a bit shit doesn't it.

Thank goodness for this then, the first viral teaser goes a long way to flesh out the back story that leads to the devastation. Have a ganders below...

We'll be following this with great interest. Shyamalan has a long way to go before he's atoned for the sins of his recent output.
