While we’re obviously super jazzed here that George Miller’s long-in-development return to the world of MAD MAX seems to be finally happening, we can’t muster much enthusiasm for this latest casting nugget. Last seen being acted off the screen by CGI robots in TRANSFORMERS - DARK OF THE MOON, model turned… no, just model… Rosie Huntington-Whitely has been announced as having signed to play a member of ‘The Five Wives’, a quintette of women being pursued by one of the many savage gangs that patrol the post-apocalyptic wastelands of Miller’s world. Presumably they’ll cross paths with Tom Hardy’s Max at some point.
Hopefully Miller can coast an actual performance out of her this time. And people said Megan Fox was bad in those flicks!
We’ll have more on FURY ROAD as it develops…
