By now it’s common knowledge that Marvel Studios are calling THE AVENGERS (and all that came before it) 'Phase One' of their cinematic superhero plans. So what’s next? Marvel supremo Avi Arad recently revealed to Crave that the teaming of Spider-Man with The Avengers could be a possibility after all (despite the various rights issues), welcome news indeed. But when you add that little tidbit to the fact that Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige mentioned to Starburst a few months back that: “Civil War, one day, would be a great crossover event.” you can’t help but add two and two together.
