Civil War

By now it’s common knowledge that Marvel Studios are calling THE AVENGERS (and all that came before it) 'Phase One' of their cinematic superhero plans. So what’s next? Well, we have a sneaking feeling that there could be plans for more than just sequels to the Avengers gang and their consequent reteaming in the pipeline. And here’s why...

Marvel supremo Avi Arad recently revealed to Crave that the teaming of Spider-Man with The Avengers could be a possibility after all (despite the various rights issues), welcome news indeed. But when you add that little tidbit to the fact that Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige mentioned to Starburst a few months back that: “Civil War, one day, would be a great crossover event.” you can’t help but add two and two together. Is Marvel hoping to blow THE AVENGERS out of the water by putting together an even more ambitious project? Could an adaptation of the critically acclaimed wall-to-wall superhero story Civil War really happen?! Your thoughts below people.
