Movie News: The HIGHLANDER Reboot Lives! And The Frontrunner To Star Is...

It’s been a long time since we last heard about the HIGHLANDER reboot, we’d started to think that Lionsgate/Summit had lost interest. But no, it’s back in the news as of today with Variety reporting the project is very much still, and they’re eyeing Ryan Reynolds to headline. (This is where we'd normally cut to a picture here but you all know what the handsome bastard looks like.)

As previously reported here, 28 WEEKS LATER director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is still attached to direct.

Can Team Fresnadillo return the franchise to its glory days? Time will tell. [Note to Hollywood: these guys might be immortal but we aren't. Get a move on.]
