Movie News: Hollywood Snaps Up New YA Novel Shocker! BLOOD OF EDEN Series Heading To Cinemas...

Frustrated screenwriter tired of shopping your spec scripts around? Time to close Final Draft and start churning out YA fiction instead. Don’t concern yourself with originality, just get it done - you’re pretty much guaranteed to have your lazily derivative novel optioned by Hollywood before it even hits bookshelves.

Yep, yet another YA book series is headed for our multiplexes courtesy of studios desperate to find the new TWILIGHT and/or HUNGER GAMES. This week it’s the turn of Julie Kagwa’s BLOOD OF EDEN series, the first of which, THE IMMORTAL RULES hits UK stores May 4th and has today been snapped up by Palomar Pictures according to insiders at Deadline.

And before you ask, yes, it is about vampires.
