Movie News

Some exciting news from our friends, Simon Oakes and Nigel Sinclair of Exclusive Media/Hammer!

With the runaway success of the THE WOMAN IN BLACK; the highest grossing British horror film in 20 years earning over $100 million worldwide, a new installment is in development continuing the story of the haunting spectre and her curse. Entitled, THE WOMAN IN BLACK: ANGELS OF DEATH, the film is to be produced internationally by Exclusive Media, Talisman, Cross Creek Pictures and Alliance Films.

Screenwriter Jon Croker has crafted a terrifying tale based on an original story by Susan Hill who wrote the original WOMAN IN BLACK novel. Taking place forty years later, it concerns a couple and their supernatural experiences they have when they move into Eel Marsh House.

If it's as atmospheric as the original, I'm looking forward to it as I'm sure many of the Starburst readers are. Its great to see the Hammer banner back in action again!
