...and it seems there's been a last minute title change here in the UK:

Jackson, and written and directed by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. Prepare yourself for an exciting event movie, packed with action and spectacular special effects, when “Marvel’s The Avengers” assemble in summer 2012.

... and Captain America is apparently a giant in The Avengers too, according to the poster. The Marvel Art Dept. should've picked up on that little mistake...

No mistake, the UK is apparently getting The Avengers a week earlier than the US! No idea how we got lucky like that though but I'm not complaining.

April 26? Did I miss something? That's a week ahead of the date shown on the US posters.
