Movie News

As reported by various outlets, Robert Downey. Jr has signed on to headline a new Doctor Dolittle movie.

RDJ, who’s put himself firmly in public favour in recent years with his regular turns as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Iron Man, will star in Universal’s The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle, marking the first major outing for the Doc since 2001’s Dr. Dolittle 2 (although Kyla Pratt did star in 2006’s straight-to-video Dr. Dolittle 3).

As well as Downey Jr. to star, Syrianna’s Stephen Gaghan is on board to direct.

No further details are known at this stage, but expect to hear a whole lot more on this as it develops.
