Zazie Beetz is DEADPOOL 2's Domino

Movie News

With both Cable and Domino confirmed for Deadpool 2, there’s been a whole host of rumours on who will end up playing this pair of badass mutants. Well, putting the Domino rumours to rest, Ryan Reynolds himself has taken to Twitter to reveal just who will be playing the tough-as-nails Domino.

Playing this probability-manipulating mercenary will be Atlanta’s Zazie Beetz, and Reynolds even posted a mock-up image of the actress’ head on the comic book Domino’s body.

Now all we need is for Cable to be cast, although there’s been pretty much anyone and everyone linked to that role, from Avatar’s Stephen Lang, to more recently Stranger Things’ David Harbour. Like Deadpool and Domino, Cable is also a mercenary, although his story is a little more complicated as he’s the time-travelling son of Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor (herself a Jean Grey clone).

Whilst Domino and Cable will be debuting in Deadpool 2, 20th Century Fox also has their eyes on Deadpool 3, which is believed will focus on a fully-formed X-Force team – which will include Deadpool, Domino, Cable and some other to-be-confirmed names.

Now for the aforementioned Twitter reveal from Reynolds on the Domino front:

To be directed by John Wick’s David Leitch, Deadpool 2 is currently set for a March 2nd, 2018 release.
