With the God of Thunder set to head back to the big screen towards the end of the year, we’ve now been given our first look at a new look for Chris Hemsworth’s Thor.

EW has showcased a new haircut for the Son of Odin on the cover of their latest issue, and they’ve also brought a first look at Cate Blanchett’s Hela and Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie. Be sure to check out the full image at the bottom of this page.

In Thor: Ragnarok, the Thunder God will find himself trapped on the other side of the universe as Ragnarok beckons and Asgard and beyond faces destruction. Without his mighty Mjolnir, Thor must head back to his homeland to stop the ominous new threat of Blanchett’s Hela, the ruler of Asgard’s very own version of Hell itself. Before he can head home, however, the God of Thunder must fight his way off the battle planet of Sakar, which is where he must do battle with his old Avengers pal, the Green Goliath, the Hulk.

As well as Hemsworth, Blanchett and Thompson, Ragnarok will also feature Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Sir Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Karl Urban as Skurge, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, and an unspecified role for Sam Neill.

To be directed by the brilliant Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok is set for a November 3rd global release.
