Official Synopsis Revealed for LOGAN

Whilst the stunning trailer for James Mangold’s Logan has been playing in cinemas for a few months now, the film has finally been given an official synopsis.

Courtesy of 20th Century Fox and Hugh Jackman, we now have the brief blurb on what to expect when Mangold’s follow-up to the criminally underrated The Wolverine hits the big screen in just a matter of months. It’s not exactly a huge, detailed synopsis that’s drenched in big reveals and spoilers, but it’s at least something.

This new official synopsis reads:

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

In terms of those “dark forces”, we already know that Boyd Holbrook will be heading up The Reavers as they hunt for Dafne Keen’s X-23. Additionally, Weapon X and their shenanigans will be present in the film as well. And then, well, then there’s the eerie presence of Mister Sinister…

Also including Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant and Stephen Merchant, Logan is currently set for a March 3rd release. In the meantime, be sure to check out the next issue of STARBURST Magazine, on sale this coming Friday, for our full preview of Jackman’s swansong as Wolverine.
