Movie News

In some rather cool news, Peter Dinklage is in talks for Avengers: Infinity War.

Variety has word that the Game of Thrones actor is in early negotiations for a major role in Anthony and Joe Russo’s upcoming outing for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Additionally, Dinklage’s mystery role is one that would see him also involved in the back-to-back shooting of Infinity War and its sequel. Dinklage, of course, is no stranger to the world of comic book movies, having played Bolivar Trask in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Where Infinity War is concerned, Josh Brolin’s Thanos finally stepping out of the shadows will bring together Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, Chris Evans’ Captain America, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Tom Holland's Spider-Man, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye, Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlett Witch, Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier, Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana’s Gamora, Dave Bautista’s Drax, Bradley Cooper’s Rocket Raccoon, Vin Diesel’s Groot, and Brie Larson’s debuting Captain Marvel. It’s also expected that Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther will be another confirmed to take part in this huge superhero mash-up.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently set for a May 4th, 2018 release, with the sequel to follow on May 3rd, 2019.
