“Hello, Dave!” The League of Gentlemen’s Apocalypse, the spin-off feature film from the hit TV comedy series is heading back to DVD from Fabulous Films this December.

Made in 2005, the film followed the characters of the surreal cult show as they venture into unknown territory - namely the real world. Created by Reece Sheersmith, Steve Pemberton, Mark Gatiss, and Jeremy Dyson, the team (minus Dyson, who doesn’t appear on screen) return for the twisted meta-movie, which also features guest appearances from such other big names as Simon Pegg, Michael Sheen, Victoria Wood, David Warner, Bernard Hill, and Peter Kay.

Official synopsis:

Royston Vasey is facing disaster, and the only way to save it, is for the locals to travel to a new and exciting world... ours! From present day Soho to the fictional film world of 17th Century Britain, the residents must overcome countless bizarre obstacles in their bid to return Royston Vasey to safety.

Adding to the value, the DVD will include numerous special features including the making of The League of Gentleman’s Apocalypse, the Real Royston Vasey, A cast of thousands, A Gentleman’s Diary by Steve Pemberton, Deleted Scenes, Outtakes, Gallery, Trailers, Commentary.

The League of Gentlemen’s Apocalypse will be released on December 12th.
