In some news that will get fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe tight in their pants, it’s been confirmed that Avengers: Infinity War will actually feature a crossover between Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and the Guardians of the Galaxy.

This news comes via Vin Diesel partaking in a Facebook Live chat, revealing, “The Guardians will be included in Avengers: Infinity War and that’s incredibly exciting.”

Diesel, of course, is the Guardians’ Groot.

To be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, a duo who also helmed Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War is currently set for an April 27th, 2018 release. Before that, though, Diesel’s Groot will be present and accounted for when James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be in cinemas on April 28th, 2017.
