Movie News

With Marvel and Sony’s new Spidey movie now officially titled Spider-Man: Homecoming, the film has added two new cast members over the weekend.

The Wrap and Deadline have word that One Life to Live’s Laura Harrier and The Grand Budapest Hotel’s Tony Revolori have joined Homecoming. There’s no major details on who these two will be playing, although Harrier’s role is described as “significant.” Revolori will definitely be playing a high school student and is likely to not eventually be revealed as a villain.

These two new additions join a cast that currently includes Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Zendaya as a female lead called Michelle. Interestingly, it’s believed that Michael Keaton is in talks to play the movie’s villain.

To be directed by Cop Car’s Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming is set for a July 7th, 2017 release, although Holland’s Wallcrawler will debut later this month in Captain America: Civil War.
