Movie News

Following on from last month’s new that Julianne Moore was in talks to play the film’s villain, now comes word that Halle Berry is also in discussions to join Kingsman 2.

Deadline reports that the 49-year-old Oscar winner is being eyed to play the head of the CIA in Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman sequel. If Berry does join Vaughn’s follow-up, she’ll join the returning Taron Egerton, who's back as Eggsy.

No major plot details are known on the sequel at this stage, bar that the action will focus more on the USA and the US arm of the Secret Service.

At present, Kingsman 2 is set for a June 16th, 2017 release.
