Annabelle Wallis in Talks to Join THE MUMMY

With Tom Cruise and Sofia Boutella already on board, now comes word that Universal’s upcoming Mummy redo is in talks to add Peaky Blinders’ Annabelle Wallis to its cast.

The Hollywood Reporter and Variety broke the news, with Wallis being eyed to play an archaeologist in the film. Cruise is on board to headline as a special forces agent going up against Boutella’s monster.

To be directed by Alex Kurtzman, The Mummy will kick off a new shared monster universe for Universal Pictures when it arrives in cinemas on June 9th, 2017.
