Surprise Hero Spotted on DOCTOR STRANGE Set

Movie News

Now this could be a whole lot of nothing or it could be an indication of a rather big cameo, but a certain actor has been spotted on the set of Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange. It goes without saying that there are potential spoilers ahead, so turn back now if you don’t want to know any more.

Marvel Studios’ Louis D’Esposito took to his social media channels to share a photo from the set of Scott Derrickson’s Doctor Strange, and featured on the pic were a few surprise faces. First up, C. Robert Cargill was included. Cargill worked with Derrickson on the Sinister movies and this has seemingly confirmed that he’ll be working with the director once more on the Sorcerer Supreme’s movie. But more interestingly, the shot also includes Tom Holland. Holland, of course, is set to debut in Captain America: Civil War as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man.

Just because Holland has been spotted on set, this doesn’t exactly confirm that Spidey will be a part of Doctor Strange, but it’s certainly going to get tongues wagging. Throughout the decades in the comic book realm, the Wallcrawler and the Master of the Mystic Arts have often teamed together, with Strange also playing a pivotal part in Peter Parker’s life following the comic book Civil War arc. Could it be that Spider-Man seeks Doc Strange’s help after the cinematic Civil War?

Whether this means anything or not, we’ll have to wait to find out when Doctor Strange hits cinemas on November 4th, 2016.
