With Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice already confirmed to feature appearances from Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg-in-waiting Victor Stone, there have been rumours that the Scarlet Speedster himself, The Flash, would also pop up at some point. Well today brings apparent confirmation that, yes, the Sultan of Speed will be making an appearance.

Speaking to Omelete, costume designer Michael Wilkinson revealed, “Well, I’m not really at the liberty to talk about The Flash right now, but it’s something that you’ll be seeing in the future of our films. You do get a glimpse of him, of course, in Batman v Superman.”

Already cast as the DCCU’s Barry Allen is We Need to Talk About Kevin’s Ezra Miller. Following his Batman v Superman debut, The Flash is already lined up for his own Seth Grahame-Smith-helmed movie in 2018. The Scarlet Speedster will also be present in Zack Snyder’s two-part Justice League tale when that arrives in 2017 and 2019.

To be directed by Snyder, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is currently set for a March 25th release.
