Movie News: Channing Tatum Stepping Up For Soderbergh's MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.?

Movie News

Further to the news that Bradley Cooper had dropped out of Steven Soderbergh's long in development MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. reboot, comes a new front-runner for the role of Napoleon Solo... and we can see this choice causing a little upset to be honest.

To be fair on Tatum, he might have started out his career as little more than eye-candy, starring in such fluff as SHE'S THE MAN and the STEP UP series, but he's scored some more worthy gigs of late - including, most notably, Steven Soderbergh's upcoming films HAYWIRE and MAGIC MIKE.

It's that particular relationship that lends validity to the rumour, as it's clear Soderbergh sees something more in the actor.

But never mind Steve, do you guys think he's right for the part? And if not Tatum then who?
