THE CONJURING 2 Adds Frances O'Connor

James Wan’s The Conjuring 2 has added The Missing’s Frances O’Connor to its cast.

The Hollywood Reporter brings word that the actress will be playing the key role of a mother whose daughter is being aggressively haunted. O’Connor joins a cast that also includes the returning Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as Ed and Lorraine Warren.

As well as Wan, Wilson and Farmiga, Chad and Carey Hayes have also returned on screenwriting duties. Plot-wise, it’s believed that the sequel to the stunning Conjuring is to focus on the famed Enfield Poltergeist, with the cast and crew shooting on location in the UK.

At present, The Conjuring 2 is set for a June 10th, 2016 release.
