Woody Harrelson is WAR OF THE PLANET OF THE APES' Villain

Movie News

In some rather cool news, Woody Harrelson is to play the main human villain in the upcoming War of the Planet of the Apes.

The Hollywood Reporter has word of the casting, with the only details known on Harrelson’s character being that he’s called The Colonel. Obviously that could very well mean he’s part of a military operation, even more so when you remember that military reinforcements were requested as Dawn of the Planet of the Apes came to a close.

At this stage, the only other names on board for War are Gabriel Chavarria and the returning Andy Serkis.

To be directed by Matt Reeves, War of the Planet of the Apes is currently set for a July 14th, 2017 release.
