Movie News: Joss Whedon Returns to the Supernatural with IN YOUR EYES

Movie News

It was only the other day we were questioning just how on Earth Joss Whedon manages his insane work ethic, when along comes the announcement of yet another brand new project heading our way!

IN YOUR EYES is the title of his new movie, which is described thusly:

'In Your Eyes' is a metaphysical love story about two seemingly polar opposites who are deeply connected in ways neither could have ever imagined.

Joining the previously reported MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING adaptation that sprang from nowhere, IN YOUR EYES will be the second feature to be produced by his newly formed "micro-studio" Bellwether Pictures, but unlike the former Joss will only be providing the screenplay this time around, with Brin Hill (who he?) taking on directorial duties.

In his recently issued statement, Whedon had this to say about the project:

“When I wrote 'In Your Eyes', I didn’t have the wherewithal (or the moxie) to make it without an established production house. I believe, as I did then, that it’s a pretty timeless romance, and now, with the creation of Bellwether Pictures (and Brin Hill’s elegant, passionate take on the piece), I have the opportunity to prove it. (I also have a 37% increase in moxie.) I love this team and I can’t wait to see them bring 'In your Eyes' to life.”

Us neither, sir.

We'll have more info for you as and when it drops...

I love the sound of this story, and knowing Joss's work, i know the twist will make the story worth my attention. It will be so refreshing to see a love story that isnt some rubbish, teen-fest! A movie of worth and adult directed, would deafinately be new, and as interesting as the concept sounds.
