One of the most fun shorts made over the last few years was the giallo/slasher homage A Bloodstained Butterfly, written and directed by David McCool.

His feature film debut, Half Chance is now crowd-funding on Indiegogo, and you have the chance to both help the film raise its budget, and receive on-screen credit (including as associate, co- and executive producer level), and pre-orders of DVDs and digital downloads.

Having read the script, we can confirm the story is a unique and fresh sci-fi romance, which will include a number of thrilling set pieces. McCool is a talented director, attempting something new and exciting, who deserves the support of fans.

For an example of McCool’s skills, check out his first short, Sparks.
