Another day, another Mark Millar property is snapped up by Hollywood!

Following on from the recent announcement that SUPERIOR and his upcoming SERECT SERVICE comic-books are to hit the big-screen (not to mention WANTED and KICK-ASS sequels), comes WAR HEROES, based on the (still unfinished) six-issue Image mini-series about super-powered soldiers fighting a war on terror in an alternate timeline to our own. Universal have bagged this one, employing the writing talents of screen-scribes Thomas Dean Donnelly & Joshua Oppenheimer (the boys behind that CONAN reboot nobody went to see) to adapt.

That's as much as we know at this point, but expect more updates as they drop…
