Legendary actor Leonard Nimoy has passed away aged 83 after being hospitalised recently.

The STAR TREK stalwart, who played Vulcan Mr Spock in the original series and subsequent films also had a long and varied career on TV and in movies, both in front and behind the camera as a director, as well as recording several albums of music.

A much-loved character, he was popular with fans and will be sorely missed.
STARBURST sends our sympathies to his family and friends.
