Movie News

THE DIVIDE is a film I missed at London Frightfest this year and I have regretted it ever since. FRONTIER(S) director Xavier Gens’ film has been doing festival rounds since the summer and those who have seen it say it is a tough and uncompromising vision of what happens to people when trapped and faced with the end of the world.

A trailer for the film has now appeared online:

I don’t know about you but this has immediately leapt to the top of my must see list. The film stars cult fave Michael Biehn as well as Milo Ventimiglia (HEROES), Lauren German (HOSTEL: PART II) and Rosanna Arquette (PULP FICTION). No word yet on whether this will get a UK cinema release or end up straight to DVD but we should see it early next year.

Quoting Paul Mount:
I like a good apocalypse so I need to see this now please, even though it's got the wonky-mouthed one from 'Heroes' in it. Looks like a straight-to-DVD effort to me but I'm okay with that.

It was one of the better films from the "Grimm Up North" farcical, I mean festival, last weekend. No doubt you'll hear the other guys thoughts on it on Sunday's radio show.
