A new drama film will begin shooting in May, written and directed by Steve Call and starring an array of upcoming talent. TEARS IN THE DUST is a drama about a successful software salesman whose life, one day, changes forever, and he loses everything. Call’s previous film, the comedy A TOTAL THUG UP will be out on DVD soon.

While not particularly in the usual STARBURST sandbox, the film does feature roles for actors who have been in pivotal independent British films recently and we are all for supporting emerging artists!

The lead actor is Dean Sills, who appeared in the fantastic zombie anthology, THE ESCHATRILOGY (THE BOOK OF THE DEAD in the States), alongside Steve Pollard, who also appears here and will soon be seen in the much-anticipated BANJO  (which also features Laurence Harvey and Lloyd Kaufman).
