After plenty of fan speculation over the gravel-toned narration in the recent STAR WARS: EPISODE VII - THE FORCE AWAKENS trailer, motion capture wizard Andy Serkis has revealed he’s the one behind the voice.

Serkis confirmed rumours on two separate occasions, being Good Morning America and the UK’s own Absolute Radio, commenting that he found it funny how fans thought the voice belonged to Benedict Cumberbatch, who’s making a habit of franchise-hopping.
