SHARKNADO 3 Poster Debuts; Sharks Heading to Space?

Movie News

In a subgenre that houses the likes of MEGA SHARK VS MECHA SHARK, TWO-HEADED SHARK ATTACK, SAND SHARKS, GHOST SHARK and more, SyFy’s SHARKNADO seemingly pushed things to a whole new level of ‘so bad it’s good.’ Enjoyable but horrendous, that movie then spawned the ridiculously-titled SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE, a film that was just too much for most people (Tara Reid hanging out of an airplane, shooting sharks out of the sky with a handgun, anyone?).

Whilst THE SECOND ONE firmly split opinion here at STARBURST HQ, by that point SyFy had already made their intentions clear on making a third film in the series. And now, courtesy of ShockTillYouDrop, comes the first look at the poster for SHARKNADO 3. We’d already heard rumblings that the main plot of the film was to be moved to Washington, D.C., but could we also be about to see the action get taken to space?! Really?! Having thought about this too much, we’re off to lie down in a dark room. In the meantime, here’s that poster...

Spaceships? Glowing eyes? Parts of the same rehashed poster that was used for the first two films? Oh hell no? Looks like this is going to be a bumpy ride.

SHARKNADO 3 will be arriving next year.
