Bloodborne

BLOODBORNE is but one title in a growing list of next-gen games getting players hot under the collar. While Destiny remains this year’s most highly anticipated game for most, next year is looking pretty special (and expensive).

The role-playing game from DARK SOULS developer From Software is expected for a 2015 release. Speaking to Digital Spy, producer Jun Yoshino said ‘We're really working flat out to get this game out for early 2015.

For those of you who can’t wait, and who could blame you, attendees at Germany’s gaming event GAMESCOM will be able to try their hand at the demo. If Germany’s out of your way, BLOODBORNE will be making appearances at all major games shows.

BLOODBORNE, like the SOULS franchise, makes isolation and paranoia key components of its design, pitting you against a notoriously difficult environment and rogues gallery of enemies. It takes place in a city where the inhabitants have gone mad, searching for a cure.

There’ll be plenty more about BLOODBORNE in the coming months.
