Capcom have today confirmed a May 2013 release date for the 2012 3DS title RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS, on the home console and PC markets.

Revelations takes place between Resident Evil 4 & 5 and tells the story behind the T-Abyss virus, with action taking place aboard 'Queen Zenobia' (an abandoned cruise ship) and the devastated city of Terragia. Featuring franchise stalwarts Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine (plus respective BSAA partners – Parker Luciani and Jessica Sherawat) the action also allows the player to switch between third and first person perspective. As you'd expect there's a marked upgrade in the visuals, as seen in the launch trailer...

You must have the Adobe Flash Player installed to view this player.

The home console version contains additional content including new enemies, an extra difficulty mode and improvements to 'Raid Mode' from the original Revelations (you get to play as Hunk this time). Revelations will also take advantage of Residentevil.net with content available to users once the game launches.

RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS is available on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC from May 24th (May 21st North America).
