EA have announced some pre-order incentives today for DEAD SPACE 3. Annoyingly they don't seem to be available in the UK...

However our US brethren can take full advantage by pre-ordering from Gamestop or Amazon. However, you get a different bonus to blast the bejeesus out of those pesky necromorphs depending from whom you purchase (from press release):

Gamestop - EG-900 SMG
This EarthGov-issued sub machinegun is built for urban warfare. It’s compact but deadly, sporting an internal hyper-accelerator for maximum damage.

Amazon - Tesla Enervator
Sovereign Colonies scientists developed the “Enervator” from an overdriven focus coil to “humanely” eliminate dangerous specimens. The Enervator delivers a precision blast causing instantaneous electrocution and molecular destabilization in the target. In test subjects, death was instantaneous.

and the winner is... clearly Amazon. Let's face it you have a choice between a machine gun capable of "maximum damage" or a vaguely described piece of scientific equipment that causes "instantaneous electrocution", "molecular destabilization" and "instantaneous death". I can see the look on the face of the Gamestop marketing head as he lost the RoShamBo tie breaker...

Which would you prefer - lead-spitter or electric death machine? Let us know in the comments below...
